BTZ doubles the Ligier effort in Endurance Brasil

Not satisfied with the 2023 Império Endurance Brasil title, BTZ Motorsport is bringing another Ligier JS P320 to its umbrella, making it a double effort for the team for the first time since it entered the championship.

The No. 117 entry follows what was built during the last season and that paid dividends at the end with the title, as Guilherme Bottura and Gaetano di Mauro will likely pair up to defend the crown and Gustavo Kyrilla will join the gang after a stint in the ADAC Prototype Cup and a partial Endurance Brasil effort with the team.

The news, however, come from another side as a new Ligier JS P320 was brought by AutLog Racing, with BTZ Motorsport offering assistance during the initial tests of the new car last year, and BTZ announced at the end of 2023 that the No. 22 car will race under their banner in 2024, replacing the Ford Mustang GT4 that was raced until last season, with the lineup staying unchanged for the jump in class, with Flávio Abrunhoza having Leandro Ferrari and André Moraes Jr. In the lineup.

The BTZ entries add to the car that A. Mattheis Motorsport has and the No. 18 car from FTR Motorsport, which means Ligier already has more entries confirmed than the Sigma P1 G5 ahead of the season start that will occur on 16 March at Goiânia.
