New DLC and updates delivered to Le Mans Ultimate

In the Early Access process of Le Mans Ultimate, the latest update brought this Tuesday (24) by Studio 397 leaves the simulator a step closer to hit a full release state with more features for single player modes, and the second DLC pack completes the Hypercar part of the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship grid and adds another circuit.

In terms of content, while the existing machines receive the different 2024 FIA WEC liveries used through the season, two new cars join in via the 2024 DLC Pack 2, being them the
Alpine A424 LMDh and the now parked Isotta Fraschini Tipo 6 Competzione LMH. As it was with the DLC Pack, a circuit from the 2024 calendar was included, which is the Circuit of the Americas that replaced Sebring as the host of the American round. And while the new cars and the track attract the attention, the new features included in this update should be as welcome as the DLC.

The car selection screen got a more organized look, where the entries are selected by the season they competed, and team, entry and livery selection is sleeker. Mid session saving is the next thing to enjoy, which can be made via a pitstop, with three slots ready to store the campaigns underway. LMU follows the trend revived by Assetto Corsa Competizione after 13 years since GTR2 made clever use of this feature.

What is in fact a new feature is the Co-op Mode that is done in asynchronous mode, where events are made available for a set period, and up to three players can join forces to face off the AI, choosing when they do their driving stints, along with communication features so you can give an explanation of the race to the next driver.

You can see the full changelog in the Steam page for more details, and for those who don`t know any of the DLC packs, you will be able to race against DLC cars normally.
