The Queensland weekend of FANATEC GT World Challenge Australia saw plenty of action on track, where Audi machinery made its characteristics prevail at the Paperclip, with the No. 81 Team BRM entry scoring a maiden win on Saturday while the No. 87 Shaw & Partners car commanded the show on Sunday with a flawless performance that could have turned into a full sweep.
Paul Stokell treated to act quickly and secured the lead right at the green flag wave for the No. 181 OnlyFans Audi, and the second step for Stokell was to open the gap, with him soon disappearing in front while Brad Schumacher pushed the No. 87 Shaw & Partners Audi to try to catch some of this lost ground.
The No. 22 MPC Audi being beached in the gravel did no favors for Stokell, but he was saved by the No. 87 stopping early as they found a slow puncture in one of the tires, but the rest of the field was still behind the No. 181, and with the No. 38 KMB Aston Martin also visiting the gravel, there was even less green flag time before the pit window service.
It would be the Pro-Am Cup run on the Am Cup cars to flip the order back with 20 minutes to go, but the Pro-Am Cup cars got bottlenecked at Turn 1 and a multi car crash happened, taking out the No. 181, the No. 87, the No. 4 Grove Mercedes and more.
More ten minutes of cleanup and the No. 16 Black Wolf Mercedes led the field for a short time, as Ben Schoots left the door totally open for Brendon Leitch in the No. 7 Dayle ITM Audi, but with a 10 second penalty being applied, it was just an on track win as the No. 81 Team BRM Audi held its way to the end by shutting the door of the No. 81 Tigani Mercedes, The No. 16 Black Wolf Mercedes still won the Am Cup despite going down to fifth overall.

Race 2 saw everybody compressed in the racing line, which gave a bit of a cushion forbthe leading No. 66 Tigani Mercedes while the No. 7 Dayle ITM Audi barged its way past the No. 87 Shaw & Partners Audi to pursuit the leader.
In the first 15 minutes, the gains stopped appearing for the No. 7 as the tires were deteriorating, and this was attracting the No. 87 to do the payback, but the traffic set the No. 87 apart from the No. 7.
With the success penalty that the competition had, the No. 87 Shaw & Partners Audi jumped to first before the pitlane exit, and from that point, Brad Schumacher didn't put a wheel wrong to command the remainder of the race and win with a considerable margin.
