Cars, cars
and more GT3 cars, everywhere you
can see. This is basically a routine of the Blancpain Endurance Series since its creation, in 2011. And the
classic scene that this competition presented, of lots of fast GT machines,
will repeat this year, as 56 full season entries are listed while the official
tests are being held at Circuit Paul
Ricard.
The Pro Cup will receive the largest amount
of entries, with 23 cars fighting for the main honor of the competition. The
last year champions of Belgian Audi Club
WRT are back with three Audis, but will face the opposition of strong teams
like M-Sport Bentley and Bentley Team HTP with its Continentals,
Phoenix Racing and its Audi R8, Black Falcon and ROWE Racingwith its Mercedes, Nissan
GT Academy RJN with a GT-R GT3, as well Von Ryan Racing and Grässer Racing
Team, coming as factory teams of McLaren and Lamborghini with their new models,
the 650SGT3 and the Huracan GT3.
The Pro-Am
Cup will have 21 entries, counting with last year champions of Scuderia Villorba Corse and2014
runner-up teamTDS Racing and its
single BMW Z4, and there are some interesting entries along the list. The
fourth Audi of Belgian Audi Club Team WRT will be in this class, as well the
always present Emil Frey Jaguar.
From the European Le Mans Series
comes the Team Russia by Barwell and
its BMW Z4, as well AKKA-ASP and its
Ferrari. The Pro-Am entry of Nissan GT academy RJN is in the list, this year
composed entirely by gamers, and Dragonspeed
brings the stars and stripes of America to BES.
The Am Cup, formerly known as Gentlemen
Trophy, will have 10 full season cars, and along with last year champions of AF Corse, will feature some well-known
teams from national and continental GT championships, like Car Collection
Motorsport, Classic & Modern Racing, Delahaye Racing Team, Glorax Racing
and Sport Garage. Kessel Racing, AKKA-ASP e Team Parker Racing will complete the field.
