Emerging from the Crosscar class in RallyX to the FirstCorner FC2, Romet Tsirna is having a great debut season but a win was lacking amongst his 2026 results, and this was solved on Saturday (08) at the Estering, as he ignored the title battle between Oliver Eriksson and Lukas Andersson and pushed hard to win a nail biter of a Final in Buxtehude.
As much as René Münnich imposed dominance with his SEAT Ibiza RX, Mats Öhman kept his Volkswagen Polo KMS 601 RX really close to the German, with the Swede staying within a second or two from the Münnich Motorsport driver as the heats passed. Oliver Eriksson didn’t really stand out in terms of performance, but his racecraft put him in third in the Qualifying, with Tobias Daarbak and Lukas Andersson barging their ways into fourth and fifth in the intermediate standings.
Mandie August was an attraction in the Qualifying too, with the sixth place in the table not reflecting her evolution, and specially her driving behavior, being less stiff than usual and taking more risks whenever possible.
With no Semifinals, three Finals were used as the way to settle the winners. Mats Öhman did it first with a masterclass drive to win the Open 4WD Pro-Am Final while René Münnich recovered from a retirement in the Pro-Am Final to win the Supercar Final despite being hunted by Öhman for the whole race.
Between the FC2s, Romet Tsirna shut the door in the first corner and took the lead while Oliver Eriksson and Lukas Andersson kept the chase. Andersson took the Joker early to avoid the OMSE drivers but almost fell victim of Tobias Daarbak, only to be denied of the second position in the next lap by Eriksson. With Eriksson holding Andersson in the final 2 laps, Tsirna had a bit of room to breathe and push to the win by 0.467 seconds to Eriksson and 1.584 seconds to Andersson.

Eriksson has 207 points against the 183 of Andersson, so there’s not much that Andersson can do to revert the situation if things take their natural course.
