While having its difficulties here and there, the first two rounds of the 2026 RallyX Americas season were a reality, with Robin Larsson coming back to action in dominant fashion as he won the first event and Tommi Hallman winning a thriller in the second round at Crandon.
Everything had to be done on Sunday as the weather had other plans and turned any activity impossible on Saturday, as extreme rain hit Crandon really hard. On Sunday, despite some damp portions in the track, there was no more rain for the day.
The first Semifinal had a tight finish where Jimmy Henderson got the win with less than a second ahead of Kevin Eriksson, proving that the American could compete with the Worldwide stalwarts. Timmy Hansen got third place and wasn’t too far from the lead battle.
The second Semifinal was a tough battle for Final spots, but with Mikaela Ahlin-Kottulinsky being bumped by Lia Block in the first corners, the fight for the lead was reduced to three cars as Robin Larsson was leading Mitchell DeJong and Lia Block. With the pace being to similar between the top three, the order wasn’t changed in any way.
In the A Final, Larsson kept the lead as he blocked the way of Lia Block and Jimmy Henderson, with DeJong watching the action closely from fourth place. Once the Joker Laps were done, Henderson emerged in second place, but even he couldn’t close down on Larsson to attempt a move, watching the Swede win the first round of the season.
Oliver Eriksson had a dominant run to win the B Final.

Semifinal 1 on Sunday saw Robin Larsson repeat what he did on Saturday while Jimmy Henderson barged his way past Oliver Eriksson, keeping attention on both ends as he could attack Larsson but he would be exposed to a move from Oliver Eriksson. Going wide at the Joker exit practically blew Henderson’s chances of a win, allowing Larsson to dominate the rest of the race.
Semifinal 2 had Tommi Hallman leading the way while Timmy Hansen rolled multiple times at the back of the field, coming to a stop upside down, though the 2019 World RX champion was fine despite the scare. With the race restarted, Hallman kept the lead but Kevin Eriksson was on the pressure while Mikaela Ahlin-Kottulinsky opted for a different approach as the spot for the Final was secure. Kevin Eriksson kept things close but eventually settled for second as Hallman got the win.
In the A Final, a four wide melee had Kevin Eriksson in the lead as Hallman lost balance in the first jump, and when the battle was reduced to Eriksson versus Henderson, he tried tight lines to find a gap, but eventually got held up in the Joker as he brushed the barrier, giving the second place to Hallman. Going for the same lines that Henderson used, Hallman found a gap into Eriksson’s line in the final corner, barging his way to victory as he had the inside line.
