The GT World Challenge Europe calendar is known for its consistency, barely featuring changes for many years, outside exceptions like track renovation works or logistic contractual issues. The 2027 schedule remains the same, except two venue changes that will see the returns of former hosts to the series.
The two major changes for 2027 are the returns of Imola and Hungaroring, rejoining the series in place of Monza and Portimão. While Monza departs the series again after being the usual destination for the Endurance Cup, although offering an uninspiring spectacle this year with two major pileups, Portimão had its destiny settled before the cars even hit the track, as the Portuguese track closes the Endurance Cup and the season as a whole. With the changes caused by the inclusions of Imola and Hungaroring, Barcelona goes back to the season finale spot as it also closes the Endurance Cup again.
The rest of the calendar stays the same, with some date tweaks here and there. The season will start a week later at Paul Ricard, and the Imola race will happen a week earlier than the Monza race was this year.
