KymiRing joins updated RallyX Euro calendar

2024 is almost ending, but RX Promotion still had more than enough time to update the RallyX Euro calendar, and by consequence, the RallyX North and South, confirming a new track and making some calendar adjustments to seal the deal with seven rounds for its inaugural season in 2025.

In general, most of the calendar was already confirmed, with only two gaps to be filled, being one in RallyX North and one in RallyX South, although the dates were pretty much locked in. And here it is where the big news come, as the North league spot initially reserved for July will be moved to mid June, as the trip to Finland will see the competitors visit the KymiRing for the first time ever.

The track was set to take part of the Nitrocross international schedule some years ago but the event was cancelled, and at the very least, KymiRing’s international rallycross activities would be opened by the FIA World Rallycross Championship, but the dates of 14 and 15 June were actually handed to RallyX as the circuit management will wait for more clarification about the identity of World RX’s new promoter, and since this is the case, the situation with the World RX will turn into either a date change for its Finnish round or postponement to 2026.

KymiRing compliments a calendar that already has Bikernieki, Älvsbyn, Nysum and the Estering Euro final, with no date changes compared to RallyX North’s original schedule.

For RallyX South, the number of rounds went down from four to three, with the second round, initially scheduled for 5 and 6  April, being out of the updated plans. Montalegre still opens the South calendar, and also for RallyX Euro, with the first two events set for late March, then being followed by Valkenswaard in late April, with the Dutch circuit becoming the only round held in that month, while the season finale will be also at the Estering with RallyX North.

Ticket sales and team and driver registrations for the 2025 season are already open for RallyX Euro, while RallyX Americas didn’t receive any update regarding the venues for 2025.
