2025 Endurance Brasil calendar takes shape

The 2024 Império Endurance Brasil season came to an end last week at Goiânia, but the plans for the 2025 season are in a really good direction, with the full schedule already decided and presented this week.

Unlike previous seasons where the competition was concentrated at Interlagos, Goiânia and Velo Citta with an occasional visit to Rio Grande do Sul, the eight rounds of the 2025 season will be split across six venues, even though it still focuses on three states only - Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo and Goiás. The double header format used this season will be continued but it will be moved to two of the three São Paulo based venues, those being Interlagos and Mogi Guaçu’s Velo Citta.

But none of those will have the honor to open the season, as the recently opened Raceville, located in Brotas, will serve as the curtain raiser in late March. The circuit will follow the same steps of some tracks with resorts included in them, just like the Magarigawa Club in Japan, although the technical Brazilian circuit will be open to competition, with many sections of the tracks reminiscent of classic circuits around the World.

The Interlagos double header will be the attraction of May, followed by back to back races in the return to the Rio Grande do Sul state, with a renovated Santa Cruz do Sul being the round of June and the Velopark coming nearly two months later in early August. The final double header of the season will be held at the Velo Citta in September, and after a long break, Goiânia will bring the curtains down in December.

Another return to the competition is the P2 class, which returned at the Goiânia finale, will be eligible for the full season with a slightly different approach, as modified versions of the JLM Racing AJR and Sigma P1 G5 will compose the initial grid of the class after successful appearances in the Campeonato Gaúcho de Endurance.
