Since FFF
Racing by ACM made an almost total
change from McLaren to Lamborghini
this year, the team expanded their program to new championships and
new horizons, but a recent interest in the LMGTE
class also came to light.
Some months ago it
was announced that Lamborghini may be already developing a Huracán GTE machine in partnership with Dallara, and this new car would be
ready to go in 2018, and if everything goes this way, this is the
point when FFF Racing by ACM is aiming to be the squad to be
representing the manufacturer in the FIA
World Endurance Championship.
Outside GT Asia
where everything started, the other programs where the team runs the
Lamborghini Huracán GT3 are the Asian Le Mans Series and is soon to
be competing in the FIA GT World Cup, and the team went to Europe
this year to compete in the GT3 Le Mans Cup and International GT
Open, and in much of these programs FFF had at least one Lamborghini
factory driver.
If the LMGTE
possibility materializes, Lamborghini will face tough competition in
FIA WEC, with Ford, Porsche, Aston Martin, Ferrari, a returning BMW
and Corvette coming for its annual Le Mans trip.
