2025 Endurance Brasil calendar takes shape

The 2024 Império Endurance Brasil season came to an end last week at Goiânia, but the plans for the 2025 season are in a really good direction,with the full schedule already decided and presented this week. Unlike previous seasons where the competition was concentrated at Interlagos, Goiânia and Velo Citta with an occasional visit to Rio Grande do Sul, the eight rounds of the 2025 season will be split across six venues, even though it still focuses on three states only - Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo and Goiás. The double header format used this season will be continued but it will be moved to two of the three São Paulo based venues, those being Interlagos and Mogi Guaçu’s Velo Citta. It’s the LMGT3 showtime in Le Mans Ultimate

Studio 397 has been working hard in what is its only focus right now, but Le Mans Ultimate was still missing a class that made the debut this year in the FIA World Endurance Championship , and with one DLC pack, the Motorsport Games title finally filled the gap as the LMGT3 class is finally a thing in the simulator, with an extra track to increase the 2024 roster. The new class based in the absurdly popular GT3 platform appeared in the FIA WEC for the first time this year as the LMGTE spec was finally phased out in 2023 as it wasn’t a cost effective class to sustain anymore, with the World stage following a trend that was already a thing in the Asian Le Mans Series, appeared briefly in the European Le Mans Series and also replaced the GTLM class in the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship. Canada RX out of 2025 World RX schedule

With 2025 getting closer and closer, the start of the FIA World Rallycross Championship season was also getting closer without any movement from all the involved parties, and with the challenges that a promoter change includes, the season opener at Trois-Rivières was cut off the calendar, with eyes for 2026. The circuit administration released a statement explaining that the Canada RX will be canceled due to circumstances beyond their control, but the door is open for a return in 2026 with the same ice race format that was supposed to be used in 2025. With flyaway rounds requiring anticipation of at least a month in terms of logistic operations and the FIA still in the middle of a tender for a new promoter, there would be no time to send cars and equipment from Europe to Canada.
