After an excellent
2014 season, the question that appeared for every part involved into Pirelli World Challenge was: how the
2015 will be? Well, the first step was given, as WC Vision finally confirmed the 2015 calendar of the growing American sprint series.
The 2015
season will feature 10 rounds, on which five of them will be shared with IndyCar Series and the other five will
be standalone events. St. Petersburg becomes the second round as the Circuit of
the Americas enters in PWC as the starting round of the season. Laguna Seca
enters next year in PWC taking Miller Motorsports Park spot as the season
finale, and will feature double points.
Further
changes are the departure of the Detroit round, as space and time limitations
were the reasons to not coming back, according to PWC supremo Scott Bove, and the visit to Canada
changing from the streets of Toronto to the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
