2024 calendar (almost) decided for Endurance Brasil

Contrary to previous seasons, Império Endurance Brasil didn’t wait the arrival of the new year to release the first version of the next calendar, with a certain consistency that can almost be called repetition due to the limited number of venues to be visited in 2024.

While it is hard to take anything for granted as Endurance Brasil has a habit of changing venues mid season due to reasons within or beyond their control, the initial 2024 calendar is probably the closest that APE, the endurance drivers association, had to secure a full schedule in recent years, with only one date without a venue at the moment, even if it comes at the cost of a lot of repetition, with the three tracks confirmed - Goiânia, Interlagos and Velo Citta - having more than one race and the midwest circuit having three dates reserved of the eight available.

Goiânia is set to open the season in March, with the unconfirmed venue hosting the second round in April and Interlagos and Velo Citta coming in May and June. July is skipped and the following months get a race each except December, with the cycle of Goiânia, Interlagos and Velo Citta occupying dates in August, September and October, and in late October the third visit to Goiânia closes the season, two weeks earlier than the 2023 season.

Depending of what will be confirmed in the second slot of the calendar, the southern region might not see any Endurance Brasil action next year, with Cascavel and Velopark being in the possibilities due to having hosted races in 2023 though a confirmed choice might be announced closer to the start of the season. The first visit to Cascavel was plagued with tire issues due to the high speed nature of the circuit and the Velopark usually makes for a convoluted race due to the short layout it has, with lap times going below 50 seconds.
