6 Hours of Interlagos postponed to July

The Império Endurance Brasil competitors were ready to enter in another race week for the 2023 season, but a situation beyond their control and of the championship organization forced a date change in the next round, the 6 Hours of Interlagos.

The race was supposed to go ahead on 27 May, but according to a statement released by the Associação de Pilotos de Endurance, the Endurance Brasil organizer, a mistake from the São Paulo state Tourism Department allocated the date for a concert that will use various parts of the circuit, and since it would get in the way of the race activities, the only option was to move the date to the next available one.

The new date will be 23 July, meaning that the race will have a gap of almost two months from its original date, and this weekend had a reserved date that was supposed to be filled by the fourth round of the season, which at the moment is still unconfirmed while two months separate the new Interlagos date to the next one at Goiânia.
