Updated World RX calendar has no Cape Town RX

The latest decisions announced by the FIA World Motor Sport Council had an effect in the FIA World Rallycross Championship, and according to what was released until this moment, no round outside Europe is expected for the debut season of the RX1e era.

The major change in terms of venues is the absence of the season finale at Cape Town, which would mean a return for the Killarney International Raceway for the first time since the memorable 2019 title decider, but the November date was entirely scrapped, leaving only the previously announced event to be confirmed that also has no date set, which could mean that the promoter may be looking for venues in and outside European territory.

The other venues will remain as they are with slight schedule changes, like the Hell RX, that become a single header event but gets the Euro RX1 round, with the extra round passing to the event to be confirmed.

While the World RX and RX2e will start their seasons at Höljes on 3 July, the Euro RX1 and Euro RX3 will first stop at Nyirád, Hungary, on 22 May.
