GCK confirms World RX return with Delta Evo-e model

After taking the 2021 season for a break and to come up with new ideas, GCK announced the return to the FIA World Rallycross Championship, with a touch of the 80s as they mix past and future in their latest rallycross creation, the GCK Delta Evo-e RX1e.

It isn’t a secret that Guerlain Chicherit’s company never closed the doors entirely for the World RX, as they said that once the RX1e era emerged, they would be back, mostly because it would need to make sense for their parent companies, like GCK Energy, which currently recharges the batteries of the RX2e machines and will do the same service for the RX1e class that will replace the current RX Supercars. GCK was taking this time off to work on their Rally Dakar campaign, first with an electric vehicle to then move to hydrogen power, and some of this knowledge may be applied to their rallycross return.

Also, while most of their internal combustion machinery was sent to customers, one of their GCK Megane R.S. RX models remained in World RX with G-FORS operating it under the UNKORRUPTED name with Kevin Abbring at the wheel, and with Abbring being the all-rounder test driver for the French company, they won’t be jumping back having to relearn everything, while the obvious adaptation to the new electric powertrain developed by KREISEL Electric will still be a point.

While it was announced that all 14 RX1e kits were already reserved, only GCK effectively announced the car model they will use, with Kristoffersson Motorsport and ESMotorsport having to announce their choices after openly confirm their presences.
