2020 calendar confirmed for Império Endurance Brasil

The exciting 2019 Império Endurance Brasil season that ended a month ago can now be left behind as the plans for 2020 start to take place, and while the teams still need to confirm what they will do, the championship already set the schedule for the upcoming season.

The thing to point out in the 2020 calendar is that the eight races of the season have all their venues confirmed, being in a total of six tracks, and also a pre-season test is confirmed to be held at Interlagos on March 7th.

As it was the case in 2019, Curitiba opens the season but now in early April instead of late March, with the second round being at the Velopark, moved from July to May as it swaps places with Goiânia. The race at Interlagos will be held in August, while Santa Cruz do Sul stays with a single date in September. Curitiba and Goiânia will see the competitors again in October, with the season finale being moved to Velo Città. No race lenghts were confirmed, but the usual range from three to six hours is expected.

Given the volatile calendar of the 2019 season, changes may be expected, though some stability may be welcome, as even the season finale had to be moved from Interlagos to Curitiba, along with two other changes mid season.
