DiRT Rally 2.0 includes Monte Carlo rally and a few other things

One of the toughest rally events of the World and of DiRT Rally makes a return into DiRT Rally 2.0, as Codemasters introduced the treacherous roads of Monte Carlo as part of the game’s roster, and this came with some new things and an update.

Monte Carlo is the first rally to come out as a DLC from the so-called Season I pack, appearing some days after the inclusion of the first DLC cars of the game, being them the Skoda Fabia WRC and the Citroen C4 WRC, and somehow the rally from the French Alps comes with a few firsts other than this. By being the first rally with partial snow and ice on the road, snowy weather was included, and to hold your way on the road, winter studded tires are an option when tuning your car.

Don`t expect much changes in Monte Carlo when it comes to maps if you played DiRT Rally, as they were based on real life roads, so they were transported to DiRT Rally 2.0 as they are, with improvements in the graphic area and in road feel. Although the former isn`t that much impressive, the latter really gets your attention, as the nuances of the road are more accentuated, so you will be able to distinguish between soft snow paths, the actual tarmac road and top threat of them all, the black ice that somehow makes for a good portion of the road and can send you straight to the next cliff or to an embarrassing spin.

Some special Season I liveries were also included for Deluxe Edition owners, and a correction update was released to fix the MyTeam issues. Those who don`t own DiRT Rally 2.0 Deluxe Edition can also buy the DLC separately, and even if you don’t have it you can race at Monte Carlo in the leaderboard and multiplayer events.
