Ferrari 70th Anniversary Pack released for Assetto Corsa

Celebrating an anniversary is not only about enjoying the moment, but also a time to look back at was done, and KUNOS Simulazioni helped Ferrari with this by launching the latest DLC pack for Assetto Corsa this Tuesday (19), dubbed Ferrari 70th Anniversary Pack.

Seven cars cover the early years of the manufacturer until the modern supercars, with heavy focus in the classics and a model being chosen by the community to be part of the pack out of many options.

The show is opened by the racing icons of the 60s like the 250 GTO, a GT champion that was good enough to challenge prototypes at the time, the 312/67, a Formula 1 machine that made a name for itself with the help of Chris Amon, and the 330 P4, a prototype that also had Amon in its most glorious moment with a 1-2-3 finish at the Daytona 24 Hours, similar to what the Ford GT 40, its fiercest rival, did at Le Mans.

Jumping to the 80s there is the 288 GTO, the Ferrari rally car that never hit the WRC due to the demise of the Group B rules, becoming a race car to be used in the road. Some good years after this, the F2004 Formula 1 car crushed the opponents by scoring 15 wins during the season, being 13 of them with Michael Schumacher, conquering what was last F1 title way before the end of the season.

The most recent cars of the pack are the 812 Superfast, a recent addition to the road car lineup with a V12 that produces 800 hp of pure power, being on top in this department. Completing the list is the SF70H Formula 1 car, nominated to celebrate the manufacturer's milestone and one of the top contenders in the current season, which had radical changes compared to the previous cars of the hybrid F1 era, including the SF15-T already present in Assetto Corsa.

Also, Assetto Corsa hits the 1.15 version with the new DLC, mostly related to modding, so here is the changelog according to KUNOS Simulazioni:

- MODDING REQUEST: Added new LUT based system to handle camber D variations. Example, (for every compound):
DCAMBER_LUT=(|-145=0.8|-15=0.9|-3=1.01|0=1|3=1.005|15=0.9|145=0.8|)
DCAMBER_LUT_SMOOTH=1
This will override DCAMBER_0/1 behavior (values still need to be there tho)
