Welcome back to Team Aguri, Mr. Durán

Only seven months. This was the time that the Mexican driver Salvador Durán was out of Team Aguri and out of Formula E. He comes back to the team to race from the Buenos Aires ePrix onwards.

Durán comes to replace Nathanaël Berthon, who left Team Aguri at the start of the week, in a string of departures that started with Jacques Villeneuve, who left Venturi last week. Berthon left Formula E scoring only four points in three races this season.

Given the fact that Durán scored 13 points in nine races, he can easily deal with the fact that he needs to bring results, as the other driver of the team, Antônio Felix da Costa, already scored 16 points conquered with two sixth places and proved to be competitive when the car is in good form like at Putrajaya.

Most of Durán's 2014/2015 season had retirements and bad results, but in the final half of the season he conquered his best results in the electric series, which was a sixth place finish at Moscow, along with his eighth place in the second race at London.

The Buenos Aires ePrix will be in a bit more than a week, on February 6th.
