AF Corse confirms FIA WEC driver lineups

2014 GT Manufacturers and LMGTE-Pro champions AF Corse confirmed its driver lineups for the FIA World Endurance Championship 2015 season, which won’t see many changes in the operations from the past season.

In the LMGTE-Pro category, AF Corse will maintain its two-car full time program, with the champion duo of Gianmaria Bruni and Toni Vilander remaining in the No. 51 Ferrari 458, and Davide Rigon and James Calado keeping the No. 71 car seats.

In the LMGTE-Am category the situation changes a bit, because at the moment only one car is confirmed for the 2015 season, instead of the two Ferraris they had in 2014. The driver lineup has completely changed, as AF Corse brings Emmanuel Collard and François Perrodo to the team, both coming from Prospeed Competition. Completing the lineup, Rui Aguas rejoins AF Corse operations, after a year out of the FIA WEC, running in GT Asia for Spirit of Race.

Amato Ferrari still has plans for a second LMGTE-Am entry, but nothing is secured at the moment.
