Photo of the Weekend

The photo of the weekend is from Barcelona, Spain, when brazilian Felipe Nasr finally achieved his first win in GP2 Series after two years, 50 races in the category and being named Williams' test driver. It was something that was considered a matter of time to happen, after he nearly miss the title last year, but the absence of victories could bring extra pressure in his drive.

The victory came after having a nice start and overcome Tom Dillmann, that is replacing another brazilian, André Negrão. After that, it was only needed to conserve tyres while resisting the advances of Jolyon Palmer. The measure brought benefits in the final moments of the race, when Palmer locked up heavily his tyre and was unable to even follow Nasr.

Nasr is in third in the GP2 standings, with 42 points, just behind Julian Leal, with 48 points, and the leader Jolyon Palmer, that is absolute on top with 70 points.

The next GP2 double header is in the historical Monaco circuit, in April 23rd-24th.
