New Audi GT3? We want it

The Audi Sport crew had a weekend to forget after the 6 Hours of Silverstone. Two crashes of the two cars, lots of damages and no points in FIA WEC LMP1-H ranking. An Audi full-lineup DNF is a fact that didn't occurred since 2011. So after that, the german manufacturer was spotted in Monza doing some tests with the third R18 e-tron quattro, in the low-downforce aero configuration that's expected to be tested in the next round, the 6 Hours of Spa. But the R18 wasn't the only attraction on the italian legendary circuit this Tuesday.

For the euphory of the Audi fans, it was seen what can be a new GT3 racer, still in cammouflage paintscheme. If so, it will replace the actual R8 LMS, which has now 5 years old, although is still competitive.

From what can be seen, this car has quite the appearance of the R8 LMS, but with a more aggressive look on front and rear ends. From my opinion, it appears to be pretty good, but as skeptical as I am, I need to see it on track motion to go to any conclusions.

If that rumor is true, Audi will enter in the group of manufacturers that are to launch new GT3-spec cars in the near future, that has now Lexus(RC F GT3), Lamborghini(Huracán GT3) and Mercedes.
