ELMS joins Le Mans Ultimate

With most of the recent FIA World Endurance Championship content present in Le Mans Ultimate, what was predicted as the next step for Motorsport Games and Studio 397 was to at least take a look at the other options under the ACO umbrella, and the first step was taken by including the European Le Mans Series in form of the ELMS Pack 1 DLC.

The entire ELMS 2025 content will be included in parts, as three DLC will present the remaining cars and tracks, while the liveries for cars already included in the game and in previous DLC are a given. The free bits include all liveries from the LMP2 and LMGT3 fields, but there’s another thing included. Since the ELMS uses an unrestricted version of the ORECA 07 LMP2, this was also included specifically for the series, with more aero setup options, more tire compounds available and more power, which leave the car closer if not on par with Hypercar performance.

As for the DLC restricted content, Silverstone if the first circuit of choice, with a 2025 scan of the circuit being the base of the model. This comes at a time where the British circuit returned to the ELMS and it is confirmed to stay next season, with aims to return to the FIA WEC in the near future. About the car model included, it is a debut for the Ligier JS P325 LMP3, which also means a debut for the LMP3 class in LMU and of the new LMP3 technical regulations in the sim racing world, which feature a new turbocharged 3.5 liter Toyota V35A engine in place of the 5.6 liter Nissan VK56 engine.

Along with the new content, lots of updates were brought, like custom liveries being available for single player modes, adjusts to the multiplayer driver ranking, native TrackIR support and more options for hosted servers in North America and Asia, which intend to reduce lag in multiplayer sessions. The full changelog can be found in LMU’s Steam page.
