Comtoyou changes to Aston Martin for 2024 season

The recent years have been showing a trend of radical changes about the allegiances between teams and manufacturers, with long time relationships being broken once the conditions aren’t met to continue the link, and Comtoyou Racing will follow the case as the Belgian team will move to Aston Martin for the 2024 season after being in the forefront of the Audi GT3 program once WRT moved to BMW.

Comtoyou Racing and Aston Martin set a multi-year agreement that will not only benefit the GT3 operations of the Belgian team, but also their GT4 class efforts, in the respective versions of the Vantage model.

The change comes after years under the Volkswagen Auto Group umbrella, either with Volkswagens or Audis in the touring cars before making the jump to a GT3 program as one of the leading Audi squads in recent years, but since Audi Sport will take off all support to its customer teams from 2024, it was more than time to move on.

For the moment, some tests will be conducted to get more acquainted to the new models, and the driver lineups will be announced in 2024, with quite a shakeup expected as much of Comtoyou’s current lineup is composed of Audi Sport drivers.
