Kristoffersson keeps perfect score in World RX

Three rounds in the 2023 FIA World Rallycross Championship, three wins for Johan Kristoffersson, as a tricky surface at Höljes actually made the VW BAUHAUS drivers prevail even more over the competition.

Despite changing weather to the worse being an overnight thing and the track becoming as treacherous as possible, Johan Kristoffersson made it again, doing a perfect score in Qualifying with an even bigger difference to the competition when the wet track became a factor in Heats 3 and 4, and while Kevin Hansen and Timmy Hansen came right behind Kristoffersson, they were the ones who were struggling less to stay on track.

Semifinal 1 was held in the same greasy surface of the late Qualifying, and the scenario that had Kristoffersson going away while the others were finding grip and testing things was a reality again, with Timmy Hansen being the top of the chasing pack while Guerlain Chicherit denied both CEDT drivers of a spot in the Final by working bravely his way to third.

For Semifinal 2, Ole Christian Veiby started doing the other end of the VW BAUHAUS deal by jumping ahead before the first corner, but having the competition right at his back wing. Veiby could only resist on the defensive so much, and eventually opened the door to Kevin Hansen on Lap 3, staying like this until the finish line with Veiby and Timo Scheider joining Hansen as the qualified drivers.

Both VW BAUHAUS and Hansen had two cars to work strategy in the Final, with the Volkswagen Polo RX1es having the advantage in the early moments until Timmy Hansen decided to deal with Veiby for second, and Timmy in fact covered himself against Veiby in the Joker, but it simply opened the door more to confirm the favoritism of Kristoffersson, who had no opposition in sight until the line.
