LT Team moves to P1 class in Endurance Brasil

There is still some time left until the first track activity of the 2023 Império Endurance Brasil season, so the teams are making their plans and finalizing their programs, and the top class will have at least a new competitor in the form of LT Team.

Recently, the team led by Leandro Totti got an example of the JLM Racing AJR, in the tried and trusted standard package with the Chevy V8 engine prepared by Dacar Motorsport. As soon as the new car was acquired, the team went to a shakedown to get further info of the AJR at Londrina.

With tests already rolling, the lineup was already defined for the new effort, with Sarim Carlesso being joined by Luiz Cesar Jr. and Edu Pimenta in the No. 14 car. Carlesso and Cesar Jr. do have some experience together as they ran to an eighth place finish at the 2022 season opener at Goiânia, and Carlesso himself would be part of a podium scoring effort two races later at the Velo Citta in the same No. 28 JLM Racing AJR.

LT Team has been campaigning MetalMoro MRXs in the P2 Light class until this day with some satisfying results from its two car effort, and it will join Motorcar Racing as the teams with double class prototype efforts.

The 2023 Império Endurance Brasil season will start on 25 March at the Velo Citta, being followed by other seven events until December, with the usual four hour races being the standard format.
