In a week that KUNOS Simulazioni had a big milestone to celebrate, as Assetto Corsa officially reached 100 million Euros in sales, a long awaited content pack for Assetto Corsa Competizione saw the light for the players, as the British GT Pack DLC bring more options of what to do.
The new downloadable content comprises the cars took part of the 2019 British GT season in all classes that took part of it, along with three new circuits, being them Donington Park, Oulton Park and Snetterton, which actually adds to other British GT venues already included in ACC, as Brands Hatch, Silverstone and Spa-Francorchamps are present by default because of the FANATEC GT World Challenge Europe content.
Along with the cars and tracks brought in, British GT is also present in the Championship Mode, representing the whole 2019 season, and this specific series will be the first and for the moment the only one to have multiclass racing in single player mode, which serves as an alternative for those who wanted multiclass but had to go to Multiplayer to get that.
Three specs are present in the British GT Championship, being them your regular GT3s, separated in the Silver Cup, Pro-Am Cup and Am Cup, while below is GT Cup class, which is Pro-Am specific and counts with GTs from single make series like the Porsche Cup, and at the bottom in terms of performance is the GT4 class. With the cars included being already present, the addition if more in the liveries side, along with the championship specific balance of performance.
Despite all the inclusions, two cars from the 2019 season are missing, being them the Jaguar F-Type SVR GT4 and the Ford Mustang GT4, but since they don’t appear in the GT4 European series, the possibility of seeing these cars in ACC is uncertain at best.
The British GT Pack is already available on Steam and GT4 cars need the GT4 European Pack to work. Along with the DLC, an update to the version 1.7.0 was released, with patch notes being in ACC’s Steam page.
