Endurance Brasil presents 2021 calendar

Almost a full month after finishing a frantic 2020 season, the preparations for the 2021 Império Endurance Brasil season start as we now have a calendar in place.

The 2021 season will consist of eight rounds with dates already confirmed, although the final two races still need confirmation of the venues that will host them. It appears that the idea of a pre-season test day is completely out of question for 2021, after being introduced in 2020 but canceled in the last moment, while the regular season went from eight to six races due to time constraints.

From April to December, all months except July will have one race. Interlagos opens the season, being followed by Goiânia and Curitiba to complete the first semester of 2021, and a return to Interlagos will be the fourth race. The return of Santa Cruz do Sul to the championship ends the third quarter of 2021, while the Velopark and the pair of races to be confirmed end the year.

Although not announced, it is very likely that all races will remain closed to spectators, as a health measure against the COVID-19 outbreak.
