Spa-Francorchamps included in RFactor2

Studio 397
keeps its course into turning RFactor2 to the mainstream sim racing side, and this now includes the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps as the highly popular Belgian venue becomes part of the list of DLCs offered to the sim.

Spa-Francorchamps itself doesn’t need presentation to racing fans and even less to sim racing fans, as the real track is full of history in its 7 kilometer long current version as well in its previous layouts, being a sure destination to all sorts of series, from national ones like British GT and the Supercar Challenge to international spectacles like the 25 Hour FunCup, the 24 Hours of Spa and the FIA WEC 6 Hours of Spa.

In the virtual world the passion is a bit more intense, since almost every title of the current sim racing crop has a virtual version of the Ardennes track that usually populates multiplayer servers, and RFactor2 comes with a fully laserscanned version to add to the numbers. In order to be able to have all sorts of events as the real life counterpart, the RF2 version comes in two layouts, the sprint one with only the F1 boxes available and the endurance one with extra garages for larger grids like in most sportscar races.

Most of the magic that Spa-Francorchamps has is because you have a bit of everything in all sections, from blinding fast corners like Eau Rouge and Blanchimont to technical corners that require patience and precision like Les Combes, Pouhon and the famous Bus Stop. Add bad weather to it things can get really tricky, so coming with a good car setup can be a massive headache since you need to choose between and all-round stable one or making compromises for specific gains.

The Spa-Francorchamps track is available via the RFactor2 store in their Steam page for 8.99 Euros.
