2019 World RX pack completed in DiRT Rally 2.0

The first month of 2020 is coming to an end and Codemasters is finally completing the 2019 FIA World Rallycross Championship pack for DiRT Rally 2.0 as the final three cars were unveiled, which also completes the fourth Season Pass.

Although being said as completed, the 2019 World RX grid in DiRT Rally 2.0 is missing two models, being them the ESMotorsport Skoda Fabia RX and the WRC-derived GRX TANECO Hyundai i20 RX, but within Codemasters roadmap, their job is done with this part of the game. All cars but one are full-season models, with the exception clearly being the Olsbergs MSE Ford Fiesta ST RX Mk 8, as the car was already present in its 2018 iteration and due to the fact that it had a wildcard as a winner, being Sebastian Eriksson, which secures Olsbergs presence in every season recreated in a DiRT title.

About the final cars of the pack, let’s start with the STARD-built Ford Fiesta ST RX, based in the Mk 7 model but with their own Austrian take, with YouTube comments section hero Pal Try being the only driver to use the car, as Jani Paasonen, Jere Kalliokoski and Janis Baumanis were in the STARD Fiesta RXS Evo 5.

The other car is the GCK Clio R.S. RX, debuting in the DiRT franchise as the FORS-developed model joined the World RX in 2019 after spending a season in Euro RX, used by RX2 stars Guillaume De Ridder and Cyril Raymond. The car behavior seems a bit more on the loose side compared to the GCK Megane R.S. RX, and the six gears make it easier for a beginner to come in and run, given the fact that you don’t need that much fiddling with suspension, brakes and gear ratios in the Clio.

The final car in the pack was actually going to be no more than the XITE Racing Mini Cooper SX1, being the last one to be announced. Oliver Bennett had good moments in between the storm of reliability problems that the Cooper SX1 presented, and pace-wise it has what it takes to be a threat for most of the competition, so this car is the one for those who like to pick those who aren’t favorites.

Following the trend with other cars in DiRT Rally 2.0, if you’re on the mood to get the World RX competitors, unique liveries are available for every car outside the FIA World Rallycross Championship mode. All 2019 World RX cars are available in the Season Pass 3 and 4, while there’s also the option to get the cars separately.
