World RX 2019 introduced to DiRT Rally 2.0

One of the most tense and hard fought seasons of the FIA World Rallycross Championship is making its transition to the sim racing world, as the 2019 World RX machinery is finally part of DiRT Rally 2.0.

The new cars were included this Monday (16), and it will be a gradual process, as it started with three cars at the moment and more will come in the next weeks, with most of the 2019 lineup being included in the Codemasters title until mid-January 2020.

The first three cars included are the ones that fought for the crown, the Audi S1 EKS RX Quattro and the Peugeot 208 WRX, as well one of the STARD-built Ford Fiesta RXS Evo 5. All cars come with the liveries of the 2019 competitors and original liveries, but there are also some extras as one-off World RX competitors Mattias Ekström and Robin Larsson made their way into it.

Compared to the 2018 supercars, the 2019 ones are superior on stability, which lets you brake later than the usual, so expect the lap times to be going down as you can take more risks.

Curiously, it was seen a change in the release schedule for the 2019 World RX content, which means that the rest of the pack will have late releases, as the next ones will be available on January 14th and 28th, 2020.
