Rokas Baciuska leaves ESMotorsport just ahead of Spa RX

Lithuanian Rokas Baciuska was part of the list of drivers in the 2019 FIA World Rallycross Championship who climbed up the way to the top level, with him coming as the Super 1600 champion, but now he will have to find somewhere else to keep himself in the top, with ESMotorsports opting to part ways with him.

Baciuska came out on social media on Wednesday (8) to announce the termination of the link, which according to him was apparently due to intrigues within the team. ESMotorsport stated that the decision was made after discussions between both sides, and wished the best for Rokas in his career.

Baciuska is in his first supercars season and was a surprise choice from ESMotorsport, even if you consider the home factor on it,, given that names like Nasser Al Attiyah, Kevin Abbring, Andreas Bakkerud and Mads Østberg were testing and providing their input to Ernestas Staponkus during the pre-season. Baciuska ended his spell with ESMotorsport with a semifinal participation in the Abu Dhabi RX and a 13th place in the Catalunya RX.

For the Spa RX event, local hero and former WRC driver François Duval is taking the seat of their sole Skoda Fabia RX, and plans for the Lithuanian team after Belgium will be presented soon.
