REIZA Pack DLC is out for RFactor 2

Some adjusts here and there, some delays and a lot of expectation, but the day finally came, with the REIZA Pack being released for RFactor 2 in an unusual collaboration between developers focused in sim racing: REIZA Studios and Studio 397.

In fact what this pack is bringing to RFactor 2 is some of the content already available on Automobilista, which somehow helps both developers. REIZA brings more variety to RF2, a part that still is a weakness in the title, especially in the track department, and the AMS content in RF2 can use some of the improvements and features present in the Studio 397 simulator, like rain and dynamic weather, DirectX 11 graphics and native VR support, which aren’t present in Automobilista due to the limitations of the ISIMotor 2 engine.

Taking advantage of RFactor 2 features meant that all content in the REIZA Pack had to suffer updates to be ported on it, and with the recent addition of the PBR graphics and new shaders, the release suffered some delays.

In terms of cars, six models are in the REIZA Pack, with a major focus on Brazilian sportscars, with the MCR Sports 2000 being the foreign “intruder” on it. Models included are the Formula Vee single seater, the Pumas GTE and P052, which became AMS content recently, and two MetalMoro prototypes, the short-lived MR18 and the highly-regarded AJR, active part of the Endurance Brasil grid.

About the tracks, Imola makes its way into RF2 being another European venue being official content, while the Virginia International Raceway adds to the North American track list, especially by being an active IMSA venue. Ibarra, the Ecuadorian venue near a lake and a volcano, also makes its way into RFactor 2, and to end the list, the Brazilian addition for the moment is Guaporé, and despite not being in Endurance Brasil or Stock Car, the southern circuit still has a good amount of use, thanks to the regional touring car series, even having an endurance event on it, the 6 Hours of Guaporé.

As usual for the RFactor 2 DLC, you can buy all the REIZA Pack cars separately or in car or track bundles, as well a complete bundle with everything on it, and every item bought becomes part of your Steam inventory.
