Parker Racing to race with new Bentleys in 2019

Since 2016, when Team Parker Racing moved from Audi to Bentley in the GT3 ranks, the British team has been a loyal customer to the luxury car manufacturer, and the relationship will be extended in 2019, as the team now moves to the new generation of Continental GT3 cars in a double program that will see national and international participations.

In fact, Parker Racing will split itself between the Blancpain GT Endurance Cup and the British GT this year, going with a car for each championship. This doesn’t change car counts in the Endurance Cup, as Parker Racing was fielding one example of the first generation Bentley Continental GT3, but with the now named Blancpain GT World Challenge Europe not mentioned, the idea is that continental sprint racing is ruled out for 2019.

Parker Racing also establishes itself as the second team to run the new Bentley in the Blancpain GT Series, following the 2018 debut season of the car with M-Sport Bentley. Along with Parker Racing’s entry, two M-Sport Bentleys will compete in the Endurance Cup, with two more set to appear at the 24 Hours of Spa, being them the entries used in the Intercontinental GT Challenge.

Driver announcements will come at a later date, which means it’s unknown if the British squad will retain someone from the 2018 lineup.
