Allinkl.com Münnich Motorsport is back to World RX in 2019

The FIA World Rallycross Championship will have another team jumping in for a full time commitment in the 2019 season in form of AllInkl.com Münnich Motorsport, as the German team will have at least a car for the whole year along with a part-time entry.

There are no big changes in the team’s lineup, as René Münnich stays as the driver and owner at selected events while he is followed by former DTM star Timo Scheider, who is alongside Münnich for quite a long time and will be in charge of the full season entry. The cars that will be entered will be the SEAT Ibizas which are a mark of the team since 2016, though the cars passed for some changes since that time with the experience that the team accumulated in and outside the World RX.

The 2018 for AllInkl.com Münnich Motorsport was spent in various fronts between rallycross and other types of racing, with Scheider himself splitting his time with the team between his late appearances in the World Touring Car Cup and a part-time campaign in World RX and an one-off appearance in the Americas Rallycross Championship debut at Silverstone, while Münnich left the touring cars aside and threw himself more into rallycross, focusing in a full Euro RX attack and selected events in World RX and ARX.

Scheider and Münnich join ESMotorsport’s Nasser Al-Attiyah as the confirmed entries for 2019, being them part-time or full-time.
