Assetto Corsa Competizione reaches Early Access Build 3

This Wednesday (14), KUNOS Simulazioni released the third build of Assetto Corsa Competizione, sticking to the word and releasing its updates on the target date, and bringing a new car, a new track and some new features, improvements and updates.

The car in question that was brought this time was the BMW M6 GT3, coming with the liveries from 3Y Technology, the only team from the Bavarian manufacturer that raced in the Blancpain GT Sprint Cup, and from ROWE Racing and Walkenhorst Motorsport, the BMW entries in the Blancpain GT Endurance Cup, with the inclusion of the entry that won the 2018 TOTAL 24 Hours of Spa. As for the track, the Paul Ricard circuit comes in full detail, with kerbs that would punish each and every mistake, and if you miss your way on the track, the off-track trip shows acres of run-off, but the very abrasive surfaces will not be gentle on your tires.

Some new features make presence in this update, be them minor things like the bars in the setup to visually indicate the limits of each adjustment, or a basic driver profile area with rating only, to big things like the endurance race modes in single player mode, as races up to 3 hours and up to 6 hours are available, and the first iteration of player versus player multiplayer racing, limited only to practice sessions with official servers established by KUNOS Simulazioni.

The leaderboard based challenges were updated, but the older ones are available if you want to try your way something you're used with.

All that’s mentioned and the updates to the already present content appears in the changelog on Steam, and with the third build released, Assetto Corsa Competizione’s price rises from 24,99 Euros to 34,99 Euros.
