In the second visit outside the US border for the Americas Rallycross Championship, nine competitors will take part of what will be the third round of the debut season of the competition, with some surprise names joining the regular field.
In fact, only Volkswagen Andretti and Leonbro Motorsports are keeping the same entries as Scott Speed and Tanner Foust will still be the ones to beat in their Volkswagen Beetle RX models, as well Ken Block and Steve Arpin in their Ford Focus RS RX. Subaru Rally Team USA will bring Patrik Sandell and Chris Atkinson as always, but Jacques Villeneuve will take the third WRX STi in his return to rallycross after a participation with Albatec Racing in the World RX.
Oliver Bennett extends his stay in ARX with XITE Racing and the Mini Cooper SX1 after a strong showing at the Circuit of the Americas, while René Münnich includes Münnich Motorsport in the list of privateers again, though surprisingly he will drive a Ford Fiesta instead of his usual SEAT and Citroën entries.
The ARX of Canada will be held on August 4th and 5th and all action at Trois Rivières will also be transmitted live on Facebook and YouTube.
