September is the month of Assetto Corsa Competizione

Between the announcements that were made by Stephane Ratel during the SRO Motorsports Group press conference at Spa-Francorchamps, KUNOS Simulazioni had its space to bring some good info about the upcoming title Assetto Corsa Competizione, soon to be available for the public.

Marco Massarutto was the man representing the Italian developer at the conference and of course was the one presenting what’s in the horizon for the upcoming title, which brings to light a trend that was sleeping in the sidelines for a long time, which is a simulation of a single sportscar championship, with this being seen since SRO’s FIA GT Championship and SimBin’s GTR2.

After a good explanation of the game features to the present parties, Massarutto then announced that the first Early Access build of ACC will be available on Steam on September 12th, with two events of the real Blancpain GT calendar to be done in 2018, which will be followed by other five builds to be released in the space of a month between them until February of 2019, while a full release of ACC for PC will come in Q1 of 2019.

The initial build will feature the Lamborghini Huracán GT3, already seen in some tech demo videos, along with the Nürburgring GP-Strecke. Only the special events, a Hot Stint feature and quick AI racing will be available, and the online rating system will also be done in a basic level. Endurance racing and pit stops will come around November, while most of the expected multiplayer and esports features will be available only in very early 2019.

KUNOS Simulazioni is still circulating with a tech demo of ACC as three simulators are at Spa-Francorchamps this weekend and along with testing and the hotlap competitions, the KUNOS team is open to the inputs and impressions of gamers and drivers there.
