Endurance Pack DLC brings Le Mans spirit to rFactor 2

After some good time waiting, rFactor 2 finally has some Le Mans content on it in official manner, and despite still not having the Circuit de La Sarthe, the Endurance Pack DLC will still offer lots of possibilities for those who love LMPs and LMGTEs.

The whole pack comes with five cars with the production class being the majority of a current-gen lineup, and in fact three of the five cars are debuting in the sim racing scene, while the other two are proven stars in other titles.

The LMP2 class is represented by the most used car of the class, the Oreca 07, which saw dominant runs in almost all competitions it raced in, and is the first car of the current rulebook of the class to invade the sims. If you’re able to work well in the setup the 07 can hit LMP1 speeds depending of the straight length.

From the LMP3 class we have the Norma M30, a car that appeared later in the class but quickly captured the interest of a good number of teams in short notice, almost on par with the Ligier JS P3. As was the case with the Oreca 07, the Norma M30 had a lot of the hands of Duqueine Engineering in the development process of the virtual car.

The last three cars of the pack bring a good variety to the LMGTE class, as the Porsche 911 RSR comes with the Corvette C7.R and the BMW M8. The first isn’t exactly new despite the fact that Porsche finally makes its way into rFactor, but the Corvette comes for the first time in its current spec for any sim racing title, and the BMW receives a virtual version just six months after its debut in the real life race tracks.

Most of the cars come with traction control adjustments inside the car along with rFactor 2’s standard ones and you can select the use of position lights and low downforce aero packages before the race.

The Endurance Pack is available as part of the rFactor 2 DLC store, with the pack available as a whole and the cars being available separately, though there’s a good discount if you get the whole pack.
