Guaporé opens Endurance season as calendar is updated

With practically a month to the start of the Dopamina Endurance season, a very late decision sees the Guaporé circuit go back to schedule while the calendar suffers some changes to accommodate the recently added event.

The initial plan was to follow what was done last year and keep the series kick off at Tarumã, and the initial calendar saw Guaporé moved out as all rounds of the regional Endurance RS series would also count points for the Endurance Brasil series, and the decision to let the southern circuit out brought negative reactions between the fans, though this can’t be confirmed as the proper reason for the return of Guaporé.

Guaporé in fact takes the Tarumã slot and will be the only event counting for the regional series, while the former season starter is moved to late July, becoming the second round of the regional series and the third of the national series.

The updated calendar is now like this:

March 17th - Guaporé (RS)
April 28th - Curitiba (BR)
June 30th - Interlagos (BR)
July 21st - Tarumã (BR/RS)
September 1st - Velopark (BR/RS)
September 29th - Santa Cruz do Sul (BR/RS)
October 27th - Curitiba (BR)
November 17th - Tarumã (BR/RS)
