Fun Pack DLC released to Project CARS 2

The end of the year is approaching and Slightly Mad Studios still had time to go for a treat, releasing another DLC pack for Project CARS 2. The DLC called Fun Pack adds eight new cars to the title plus two new circuits, being heavily focused on loose surface content.

The major highlight is the rallycross content as the World RX of Barcelona track at Catalunya was another layout added to the Spanish circuit, as well the classic Brands Hatch rallycross circuit, responsible for the British RX Grand Prix in the 90s. There are also two new cars which are the Citroën DS3 RX and the Audi S1 EKS RX Quattro, which is in fact doing its debut in sim racing.

Although there is point to point racing though we have no loose surface stages on Project CARS 2, some Group B rally cars were included, being the Audi Sport S1 Evo 2, the Ford RS 200 and the Renault 5 Maxi Turbo, which you may throw around alone or simply bang wheels and panels with the AI and online.

Another category included in the game was the Trophy Trucks as the Ford Bronco “Brocky” is the only model present, being it a creature built by Vaughn Gittin Jr. to compete in the King of the Hammers desert race in California. His RTR machinery is also present with his take on Trans-Am spec machinery in a 1966 Ford Mustang RTR.

Finally, with all the effort made in conjunction with RTR, there is no way the drift machinery would be out, so the Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5D which competes in Formula DRIFT. This one can be raced or just thrown around for fun as Project CARS 2 still doesn’t have a competitive drift event mode, and there’s no sign of this coming in the early future.

The Fun Pack DLC is already available and Season Pass holders will have it installed right away.
