You didn't read it wrong: the Citroën DS3 RX currently used by reigning World Champion Petter Solberg is on sale, according to the driver's Facebook page. It is also stated that a spare car is up for grabs.
Recently, Solberg received an invite to participate of the Rally Dakar, but the Norwegian driver opted to decline it as he explained that it would take more time to adjust himself to the car, and he wants do commit himself to the battle for his second FIA World Rallycross Championship in a row, given the fact that only five points are needed for him to grab the title.
Unnecessary to say to any rallycross fan how special is this car, as Solberg had an special debut season of the World RX, scoring five wins and eight podiums in 2014, including a three win streak. In 2015 things were a bit harder for Solberg, as even his three wins and seven podiums couldn't give an early title.
Although, his plans for the next season aren't confirmed, Solberg would like to stay in the rallycross scene, and he is discussing this matter with his sponsors.
