Photo coming from the streets of St. Petersburg, where Ryan Eversley, leading the pack here, was the guy to finally bring glory to the current Acura program in Pirelli World Challenge.
In the first race of the Florida double-header, polesitter Eversley overcame long yellow flag periods and lots of accidents in the 50 minutes of action, as well heavy pressure near the end of the race, never letting the lead go away.
Eversley's win on Saturday is the first one of the Acura TLX-GT on Pirelli World Challenge since the model entered last year. It's also the first win of SCCA GT car since Detroit in 2014, when Johnny O'Connell dominated the two races of that weekend with his Cadillac CTS-V.R..
