Berlin ePrix circuit map revealed



With exact three months to go the circuit of FIA Formula E’s Berlin ePrix was finally revealed, in a press conference held at the Tempelhof Airport, with the presence of Formula E CEO Alejandro Agag, DHL Europe CEO John Pearson, the Berlin senator Cornelia Yzer and the two German drivers of the series, Venturi’s Nick Heidfeld and Audi Sport ABT’s Daniel Abt.

The circuit will be located in the outside area of the Tempelhofer Feld, with 17 turns and 2.47 kilometers of length. The circuit was designed by Rodrigo Nunes, and is very twisty and technical, as the only chances of the Spark-Renault SRT_01E models to gather some considerable speed will be at the main straight, at the open turn five and between the turns nine and ten.


And with the announcement of the circuit of the eight race of the 2014/2015 season, it was opened the tickets sale for the ePrix, with prices of 10 euros until April 30th. After that, the price will go to 19 euros.
