Tequila around the world

Next year we will see Extreme Speed Motorsports travel around the world, as they commited with two entries to the FIA World Endurance Championship.

After getting a taste of the championship this year running in the 6 Hours of the Circuit of the Americas, finishing 3rd in the LMP2 class, and in the 6 Hours of Shanghai, with a 2nd place best finish in LMP2, both on board of the HPD ARX-03b, the ESM guys announced that they will step up into the world stage next year.

They will align two of the new HPD ARX-04b into the LMP2 class of the FIA World Endurance Championship in a full season effort that will include the 24 Hours of Le Mans, a race that is on the radar of the team for a long time.

With that in mind, ESM will appear in United Sportscar Championship only in the four Tequila Patrón North American Endurance Championship rounds, and although there are no date clashes between the two series, some event dates are really close, which will make logistics a difficult point to consider.

And finally, about the cars, both of them are expected to be on ESM's headquarters next month, and about the drivers, the Tequila Patrón supremo, Ed Brown, and ESM chief Scott Sharp are confirmed, alongside Ryan Dalziel and Johannes van Overbeek. The remaining two drivers to race in the FIA WEC will be announced soon.
