Photo of the weekend

Photo coming from Suzuka Circuit, Japan, where the 2014 Super Formula season ended with a race win and title to Kazuki Nakajima, in Team TOM'S colours, what seems to be a good reason to why the japanese driver sometimes stays out of the No. 8 Toyota TS040 Hybrid in the FIA WEC.

Nakajima clinched his second Super Formula title holding off the challenge of brazilian João Paulo de Oliveira, from Team IMPUL, which was his main title rival. The weekend double-header started with a spectacular rain performance from Oliveira, winning the Race 1 without contestation as Nakajima finished second, what made the difference go to only one point. But then, on Race 2, Nakajima dominated from green to checkered, while Oliveira finished fourth.

OWNER NOTE:

Worth to say that right after the two title contenders, third and fourth place in the standings were occupied by Audi FIA WEC drivers Andre Lotterer and Loic Duval, and the sixth placed one was Lotus FIA WEC driver James Rossiter, what can prove that race in Japan can do wonders to your endurance carreer.
