Vita4One to set its sights to USA


After being about a year out of any competitions, Michael Bartels-led Vita4One Racing got back into actions this weekend, as the team ran a BMW Z4 into Blancpain Sprint Series at Circuit Zolder. Even though this one-off spell didn't went the way they would want, plans are being made for more GT3 competition in 2015.

But this time, Vita4One's sights are on America instead of Europe, as they plan efforts into United Sportscar Championship and Pirelli World Challenge. In fact, Vita4One announced plans to run at St. Petersbrug in 2014, but they didn't raced there.

Their plans for 2015 can include the 24 Hours of Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring and some rounds of the Pirelli World Challenge, where they will have the company of the already installed Reiter Engineering as the European teams running in the series.

According to Michael Bartels, the plans aren't totally confirmed, but the equipment and the cars are about to travel from Europe to America.
