Jenson Button is considering FIA WEC drive

Lucas di Grassi, Marc Gene, Andre Lotterer, Stephanne Sarrazin, Anthony Davidson, Sebastien Buemi, Mark Webber, Nick Heidfeld, Mika Salo, Gianmaria Bruni, Giancarlo Fisichella, Bruno Senna and Pedro Lamy. Drivers that raced someday in Formula 1 and now are dedicating their lives to endurance racing. And this list is only from the FIA WEC, which may receive another driver from the F1, as Jenson Button may consider a switch to endurance racing next year.

From the big forces in Formula 1, only McLaren hasn't announced its driver lineup for 2015, as supposed talks between the Woking based team, Honda and Spaniard Fernando Alonso are still in progress, what can make one of its current drivers go out of the team.

According to BBC, Button is pushing his team to announce quickly the drivers for 2015. And as Button's manager Richard Goddard explained, Button will only remain in F1 if he can secure a competitive drive. If this doesn't materialize, a seat into the World Endurance Championship is being considered, as both Goddard and Button see the championship with high regard.

At the moment, reports suggest that discussions for a Porsche drive are in progress, which may boost the need for the expected third car for 2015.
