Project Brabham targets FIA WEC

The iconic Brabham name can enter as a FIA WEC entrant on what depends of David Brabham, son of the legendary Sir Jack Brabham, and his recently announced Project Brabham.

The Brabham name as a motorsport team is out of action since the 90s, although David himself, after an unfortunate spell in Formula 1, became a sportscar ace winning multiple titles in ALMS, and as the tradition is going, the new generation guys, like Matthew Brabham, will come to the top levels in the near future.

The idea of the Project Brabham has a proper base as well specific goals to the future. Initially, the project will have a fan-based crowdfunding model to acquire the necessary budget to field an LMP2 car on the 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship, although no chassis or engine were announced at the moment.

Further goals can involve higher flights, such as becoming a constructor in the LMP1 category, as well an entry in Formula E and even in Formula 1.

Donators will be access to the progress of the program, as well further data explaining how to create and raise a world class racing team, being a fan, a driver or an engineer.
